Seiko Prospex SRPD21 Great White Shark Automatic Men’s Watch

Built for men who appreciate Japanese watchmaking, mechanical movements and bold dive-watch design, the Seiko Prospex SRPD21K1 is a distinctive addition to the Seiko Save The Ocean collection.

The watch takes its inspiration from the Great White Shark, giving the dial and overall design an unmistakable ocean-inspired character. Beneath the design is Seiko’s 4R36 automatic movement, which can also be manually wound and provides approximately 41 hours of power reserve.

Its stainless-steel case measures 45mm in diameter and 13mm thick, giving it a substantial presence on the wrist. The watch is fitted with a Hardlex crystal and features LumiBrite on the hands and indexes for improved visibility in low-light conditions.

For diving and water-based activities, the SRPD21K1 offers 200 metres / 660 feet of diver’s water resistance, together with a screw-down crown, screw case back and unidirectional rotating bezel.

The result is a watch that works equally well as a statement everyday timepiece, a sports watch or part of a serious watch collection.
